__MIDDLE SCHOOL (6th-8th) & HIGH SCHOOL (9th-12th) BOYS
- Hair. Hair will be clean, neatly trimmed and combed, and will not extend over the ears and collar. No extreme styles, long or short, and combed out of the eyes. Hair must be a natural color (one color only- no dark roots).
- Facial Hair. Young men are cleanly shaven. Neatly trimmed mustaches acceptable. Sideburns may not go below the earlobe.
- Pants. Docker style dress pants (excluding cargo pants and Dickies) are to be worn. Pants are to be navy blue or khaki. They must “fit” – no longer than one size above the natural waist size. They must be worn at the proper level – no sagging or bagging of pants. Pants may not be dragging on the ground, cut, or frayed and must be in good repair – no tears, patches, pins, etc.
- Shirts. Standard, three-button polos or turtleneck shirts are to be worn. They may be solid colors hunter green, heather gray, white or navy. Polos or turtlenecks must be plain or have the words “Clovis Christian Schools”. No contrasting collars or contrasting colors at the neck facings or plackets. Polo shirts and turtlenecks are to be tucked into pants and worn with a belt at all times.
We strongly recommend Dennis Uniform polos for style, color, shrinkage, and for being colorfast. Hunter green polos must be purchased at Dennis Uniform.
- CCS Sweatshirts / Jackets. When the weather turns cool, CCS sweatshirts/jackets may be worn over polos or turtlenecks. Jackets may be worn over sweatshirts. Outer coats/jackets are to be navy blue only and plain with no printing. CCS fleece jackets from Dennis Uniform may be worn also.
- Chapel. Regular uniforms may be worn on chapel days.
- Shoes. Shoes must have a closed toe and heel. Coordinating socks need to be worn at all times.
- Jewelry. Earrings or body piercings are not to be worn on campus. Body art or tattoos will not be allowed. No wallet chains or heavy-metal necklaces or jewelry are allowed. (School administration reserves the right to identify gang paraphernalia.)
- Hats. CCS ball caps are the only acceptable baseball cap that can be worn on campus. These are available for purchase in the school office. When worn on campus, bill must face forward. Sock hats may be worn on cold days. All caps and hats must be removed upon entering the buildings.
- Underclothing. Thermal underwear is not to be seen. (Especially no long-sleeved thermals under polo shirts.)

- Make-Up. Cosmetics are to be natural-looking and worn to beautify the appearance. They are not to be extreme. The same applies for fingernails and toenails. ________________________________________
- Tops. Polos are to be solid white, navy blue, heather gray or hunter green. Polos are to be standard tree-button, opaque, sleeved shirts. No contrasting collars or contrasting colors at the neck facings or plackets. _

- Skirts. Skirts, skorts, and culottes must be purchased from Dennis Uniform in navy blue, khaki, or Christopher plaid. They must come to the knee and may not be rolled up at the waist. _________________

- Jewelry. Jewelry should be simple and tasteful. Earrings are limited to two piercings in each ear. No dog collars or heavy-metal style jewelry. No body art, tattoos, or body piercings other than ears allowed. _____

Our winter dress code for ladies coincides with Daylight Savings Times and adds the option for our Clovis Christian ladies to wear coordinating tights under their uniforms or dress slacks designed for ladies. Ladies in 6th-12th grade may wear navy blue or khaki Dennis uniform style slacks. Slacks are not to be baggy (must not be more than one size larger than waist size) or too tight. Absolutly no sweat pants allowed. Administration reserves the right to approve all dress. At Clovis Christian we always want to strive or excellence; we encourage our students to dress up rather than dress down and be proud of how they look. A notice will be sent home in the spring with the information regarding the return of dress code.

- Shirts. Shirts must be solid white oxford style, button-down collar, or jersey knit polo style to be purchased at Dennis Uniform. Writing, stripes, and decals are not permitted, except for the Clovis Christian Schools insignia authorized at Dennis Uniform.
- Jumpers / Skirts. Uniform jumpers, navy or Christopher plaid, (K-3rd) and skirts, Christopher plaid only, (4th-5th) must be purchased at Dennis Uniform. Skirt and jumper hems should come to the line in the back of the knee, and should be lengthened as child’s growth mandates. Clothing should be modest, loose-fitting, and not see through.
- Sweatshirts / Sweaters. When the weather turns cool, navy blue CCS sweatshirts may be worn over white or navy polos or turtlenecks. Sweaters must be navy blue, v-neck or cardigan style, worn over white polos or turtlenecks. It is the student’s responsibility to wear proper seasonal attire. Outer coats / jackets are to be navy blue only and plain with no printing. CCS fleece jackets from Dennis Uniform may be worn.

PARENTS WILL BE ASKED TO PICK STUDENTS UP FOR DRESS CODE INFRACTIONS.
FIELD TRIP DRESS CODE FOR ALL STUDENTS
If the teacher or administration approves, students may wear jeans, pants, or knee length shorts (no shorter than the tips of the fingers when arms are extended downward). There is to be no baggy pants (must not be one size bigger than natural waist size) or pants that are too tight.
T-shirts (Christian or plain with no logos) may be worn. Modesty in ladies shirts / blouses is highly stressed. There is to be no low neck lines, halter tops, tank tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps or any other clothing that would be inappropriate. Also, no stomach area may be exposed.
Tennis shoes are recommended for comfort and safety.
Any student not dressed in proper attire will be sent to the office and will not be allowed to go on the field trip.
CONSEQUENCES
- Hair Infractions
1st Warning
2nd The student will be sent home and may not return until he/she is able to meet the school’s standard. An unexcused absence will be issued and parents notified.
- Dress Code Infractions
Only students in dress code will be permitted to attend class.
1st Student will be sent home and receive an unexcused absence. Parents will be notified to bring appropriate uniform, or the student will receive and unexcused tardy.
2nd The above mentioned, plus a one-day suspension.
3rd Consideration for mandatory withdrawal.
