Elementary Teachers

My name is Gracie Garcia. I have been married to Rick Garcia for 14 years and have one daughter who attends Clovis Christian and her name is Maelynn who is 8. I also have two step daughters: Cristal and Anetra who are both married. I have five beautiful grandchildren. I graduated from Fresno State in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development. I have worked for Fresno Unified School district as a teacher’s aide for 5 years and enjoyed it very much. I love being with children. I have done some short term mission work with children in Mexico. I am currently the Children’s director for The Rock Church. I enjoy cooking, camping, and watching classical movies.

My name is Karen Rios and I have been a teacher at CCS since 2006. I graduated high school and attended college at Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo. For the last 20 years, I have worked exclusively with young children 2 to 6 years old. I still attend workshops, conferences and occasionally classes in child development that will increase my knowledge of the development of children and keep current on issues that confront families and children today. I am a member of the National Association ofr the Education of Young Children adn come from an accredited NAEYC school. I have been married to my husband David for over 28 years, and we have two grown daughters, and one grandchild.

My name is Mrs. Rose Anne Gregory and I am one of the 1st grade teachers here at Clovis Christian School. I am the mother of four children and my husband Michael and I have been married for 26 years.I am a member of Sonrise Church and enjoy singing on the worship team and ministering thru special music solos. I started here at Clovis Christian 10 years ago as the Kindergarten Teacher. After eight years in Kindergarten I graduated to 1st grade. What a wonderful surprise it has turned out to be. Singing and drawing are two things I enjoy sharing with my class. Teaching at CCS is a blessing in my life.It’s amazing how much you can love a job when you take root where God plants you!

My name is Susan Jones, and I am the second grade teacher at Clovis Christian school, and this is my second year teaching here. I was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon and moved to Fresno when I was three days old with my adopted mom. I graduated from Clovis High School and recieved my teaching credential through Fresno State University. I have been married for a year to a a wonderful man named Allen. We live in Clovis with our dog, two cats, a turtle and a fish. Befor coming to Clovis Christian, I had worked for Clovis Unified in a morning and after school program for six years. In this program I had the privilege of working with students kindergarten through sixth grades. I am an active member in my church, serving in the choir as well as on the parish board. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walks along the beach, and spending time with my family.

My name is Stephanie Hazelton. I am a kindergarten teacher at Clovis Christian School. I graduated from Fresno State University with my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, emphasizing Early Childhood Education. It is both a delight and a blessing to be teaching here at Clovis Christian School.

Hi, my name is Rhonda Moore. I was raised in the South, but my husband's job moved us to the West several years ago. I graduated from Northwestern State University in 1978 and have been enjoying my passion of teaching since that time. My favorite part about teaching is getting to share the Word and the love of Jesus with my students.
